In 1925, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre traveled to Lucca, Italy to visit their family. When they returned home to San Francisco, they brought back something very valuable: handwritten recipes. These recipes would be used to create authentic flavored syrups that would reintroduce the Italian soda to their neighborhood. Many years later, their syrups were even used to make the world's first flavored latte. Despite the passing of time, our company remains family-owned and continues to adhere to the high quality standards set by Rinaldo and Ezilda almost 90 years ago. Each and every syrup, sauce, and smoothie is crafted with care and pride, a promise from our entire family, which includes the more than 100 members that make up the Torani team. From starting with just five syrups, we now offer over 100 naturally flavored options, including syrups, sauces, and beverage bases.
