Together with his brother Giuseppe Mastellone, they established Hermanos Mastellone in General Rodríguez, a pampas city west of Buenos Aires, in 1927. Moreover, it introduced lactose-free milk to the Argentine market in 1984, taking the lead in this category. In 1988, La Serenísima further expanded its product offerings by introducing cultured milk locally, resulting in further market success. Additionally, in 1994, La Serenísima pioneered large-scale organic dairy farming in Argentina, leading the way in sustainable practices within the industry. Not stopping there, La Serenísima also became the first company to fortify its products with iron sulfate, enhancing their nutritional value.
